I’ve been cruising down VEVO the whole day, and suggested
video after suggested video, I ended up watching 30 Seconds To Mars new music
video “Do or Die”. I’m not really a huge fan of 30 Seconds To Mars, but their
music has the power to make you feel Nostalgic, to bring you to your personal
happy place. Today "Vox Populi", “This War” & “Kings and Queens” were my all time favorite
songs from the band, but I guess today they have been over throne…
The meaning of lyrics really is beautiful, it’s about being
brave, it tells you to not be afraid to dream, to take a leap of faith, to face
what exactly fate brings you, that we don’t have much time, we just have to
seize every moment and treasure it. I was not just so captivated by the song
itself but the music video was flat out awesome. It made me want to be a part
of the raging crowd, which somehow I did feel.
It wasn’t just a
normal standardized music video artists did, but it was a movement. It was a self-confessional
creative film. Not just the opinions and the feelings expressed by the artists
but also by their fans, people who live, breathed music. They told a story of
how music changed people’s lives, how music helped make them face the challenges
life gives us, and how music connects different people all over the world, the
power music has over us. They didn’t just tell us their story but, they’re
telling us to ours as well. It tells us not just to sit there and wait but for
us to do something, to dream out loud.
After seeing this, it makes me want to see 30 Seconds to
Mars Live, definitely an addition to my bucketlist.
“Make the best out of every day, because tomorrow the world
will be totally different”
If you haven’t heard
it or seen it, YOU REALLY SHOULD.
Check it
